Navigating that journey is unnecessarily hard, often exclusive, and primarily rewards founders and financiers, not everyone else who helps create value along the journey.

Our core thesis is that if we can capture more of the early, unpaid, value which flows in startup communities, for the benefit for the community as a whole, we can create a ‘flywheel’ to create more value for each other and all win together in a positive-sum game.
Positive Sum was ideated initially by @LeanCTO, inspired by his article Startup Community Next. He has spent decades thinking about how to create more sustainable startup communities, and has been building startups and startup communities for the last two decades, particularly in New Zealand.
